- The Bible is the “inspired” or “God-breathed,” Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21; John 1:1).
- There is only one God. He created all things and exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Gen.1:1; Isa. 43:10; Matt. 3:16-17; John 10:30, 17:11, 21).
- Jesus was born of a virgin, crucified on a cross, and physically resurrected from the dead (Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:27; John 2:19-22).
- Sins came into the world through the fall of Adam and Eve and separated us from God. Jesus’ death and resurrection offered us a path to redemption and the gift of salvation for all (Gen. 3:1-24; Rom. 5:12-15; 1 Pet. 2:24; Eph. 2:8-9; John 3:16).
- The steps to salvation are to realize that we are all sinners and recognize that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. Repent of our sins, be baptized, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 3:10; 1 Cor. 6:14; Acts 2:38).
- Speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is the initial baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4).
- Jesus commissioned us to teach all nations, baptize them, and make disciples (Matt. 28:19).
- Satan can influence people through oppression and possession. Jesus has authority over all unclean spirits and gave his disciples authority to cast them out and to heal every disease and affliction (Job 1:6; 2:1; Matt. 4: 24; 8:28).
- The resurrected believers will be saved to eternal life and the resurrected unbelievers will be lost to eternal damnation (Rev. 20:11-15; 21:8; John 11:25-26; 2 Cor. 5:6).
- There will be a rapture of the church. The Lord will meet believers in the air to be with him. The great tribulation will follow with unrestricted evil and chaos on earth. Christ will return to judge the world. Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire. The millennial reign of Christ will begin. God will create a new heaven and a new earth (1 Thess. 4:14-17; Acts 1:11; Heb. 9:27; Rev. 20:10; 21:1).
