The world is certainly not where you should build your hopes, because it is unstable. The pandemic, racial tension, political unrest, wars, natural disasters, and the economic downturn are just a few signs that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one (1 John 5:19). You should live with eternity in mind, as the world is not your lasting city, but you seek the city that is to come (Hebrews 13:14).

Although you are looking forward to your heavenly home, God has given you a purpose in this world. Life on earth is short (Psalm 103:15-16), so you should endeavor to run the race that is set before you with perseverance (Ecclesiastes 9:11). Remember, the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever (1 John 2:17).
Do you fear that life will be a constant struggle and you will continue to live in poverty for the rest of your life? Have you been trying different methods to obtain a financial breakthrough, but kept failing?
Have you been worried that you might get sick, lose your home, lose your job, lose your spouse, get a divorce, lose your profit in a business, and be stabbed in the back by whom you trust? Or that you won’t get married, have children and fulfill your dream of a career? Or you or your children will not amount to any success? The list of scenarios could be much longer than this; nevertheless, let’s get to the matter at hand.
Life is short, you need to enjoy it while it last. God does not want you to walk by fear, but by faith. I used to be in that situation years ago, where I was looking about a specific business, and instead of trusting God, I got worried. Conversely, I realized that ‘worry’ only caused me to get sick and weak, and disallowed me to move forward in the path that God has laid out for me.
Over the years, God has put me through several severe test, which allowed me to prove Him and increased my faith in Him. In fact, while here on earth, Jesus could not do any mighty work, if the people did not have faith in Him. It doesn’t matter what God has promised you, you have got to believe to receive!
In recent time, for reasons I cannot specifically disclose at this time, I was working towards a major project that God has already promised me two years before. I have seen this project materialized in a dream, and God has shown me that He will help me to accomplish this dream. For the same reason, when I got to the point where everything would be materialized, the enemy reared its ugly head. You see, when you get to a point in your life when you will accomplish something great, and Satan knows that your breakthrough is imminent, that’s the time when he works the hardest to plant lies and seeds of doubt in your mind. Why? Satan knows if he plants lies and seeds of doubt in your mind, then your faith will be weakened, and you won’t please God for Him to reward you.
There are certain dreams that you have to accomplish in your life, that God sometimes require your physical help here on earth, while He works supernaturally in heaven. Although this may be true, if you become weak, fearful and doubtful, then you won’t be able to carry through effectively, hence thwarting the plans that God is helping you to accomplish.
All things considered, I again proved what I need to do, in order to have the blessings and plans of God accomplished in my life. In the final stage of this major project when the enemy reared its ugly head, I was getting weak and contemplating what to do. Granted this, I have a picture frame that I bought sometime earlier, because it contains a scripture that I gave my mother-in-law on her death-bed, minutes before she departed this earth. This picture frame has been hanging in my house for about two years untouched. Admittedly, the very day when this major project would be materialized, and I was getting weak and in contemplation from all the exhaustion of working towards the fruition of this project, I cried out to God, and I heard a loud thud! I hurried out to the living room to see what it was, and lo and behold, I saw the picture frame flat on the floor, unbroken! The scripture on the picture frame is:
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).
Well, seeing this, I said, “Lord, I hear you.” I persisted and pressed through by faith, and this major project finally came to fruition that very day!
Given these points, what I have learned through my years as a Christian, if you do not have faith, it is impossible to please God, and if you can’t please Him, then He can’t reward you. For you to get any breakthrough in your life right now, you have got to act through faith, and not only so, because faith without work is useless. You will have to play your part. At the same token, you have got to press!
With that being said, stop believing the lies of the enemy today. There’s something that you have to accomplish, of which you believe won’t be materialized, because you are doubting God. I am not sure who I am speaking to, today. To put it briefly, stop doubting God, and step out in faith right now, to claim that which the Lord has promised!
Amen!
In this world, there is always some storm going on. Some people may have just passed through a storm, while others may be going through a storm, or preparing to face a storm. I know that every one of us, including myself, would like to avoid any storm whatsoever. Regardless of this, in this life, you cannot see a rainbow without rain. Granted, whatever your storm status is, you have to remember that you can ride out your storm.
Last night I had a vivid dream regarding a very severe storm. In this dream, I saw a group of people who appeared to be involved in a political movement. As they marched down the street, they invited me to join them, but I declined. Immediately following this encounter, there was a storm approaching. After turning down their offer, I found myself caught up in this approaching storm. Alternatively, this storm appeared to be very severe and threatening. I could hear the violent sounds of thunder and lightning. Concerned for my safety, I was looking for somewhere to hunker down; however, I found myself in the opening, exposed to the elements of the storm.
Consequently, I noticed a few people gathered around me. These people were trying to cover me from the elements of the storm. However, as the storm got more severe, some of them ran away and left me. Instantly, I knew that they had removed their coverings, because I could feel the heavy rain pouring down on my bare head. Seeing that, I decided that I had to find shelter. As I prepared to move to a place of safety, I found out that there was only one man who had stayed with me during the storm. He then followed me through the storm to a shelter nearby. At this time, it appeared as if I were in another country. When I arrived at this shelter, I saw a woman who had been covering me during the storm at this place. Apparently, she ran away left me in the storm and sought shelter there. The man who was always with me, brought me to some people who gave me food and clean clothes to send me on my journey. As the storm subsided, I started out on my journey. Following this episode, I awoke from this dream.
This dream represents the typical events of our lives in reality. If you are not going with the politically correct crowd, because of your Christian beliefs and way of life, you can be forced to weather the elements of the storm in isolation. Believers are faced with various obstacles from time to time, as they trod on their Christian journey. This politically correctness can come from any people with whom you are associated with. These people could be your own church brethren, families, co-workers, business associates, friends, or people you meet along the way. This isolation can force you into the path of a storm. Conversely, some of the people who you thought will cover you throughout your storm, or have your back, so to speak, will likely run away while you are going through your storm.
Nonetheless, there will be one man standing, who will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). He will hunker down with you, cover you, and take you to a place of safety. At this place, He will provide you with all the necessities that you have been deprived of during the storm. He will restore you, bless you, and give you peace and deliverance. In any event, you will have to ride out your storm with Him. Do not follow the ones who run away from the storm, hoping that they will still be rewarded, if they did not endure the test of time. The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but to those who will endure to the end (Ecclesiastes 9:11). Just hold on to Jesus, and you can ride out your storm.

God bless you.
Everyone faces many trials; however, these trials are not in vain. God uses them to do a work in us, developing us into mature Christians.
In James 1:2-4, we are told, Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. In other words, God uses the tough times in life to sharpen us, making us mature and complete Christians.
Furthermore, God will not permit you to remain in the same trials all of your life; in His proper timing He will deliver you. Psalm 34:17 says, The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
So don’t run from your trials, because the testing of your faith develops you into a mature and complete Christian.

It’s kind of hard when you have prayed, and is waiting on the Lord for an answer to your prayer. You might get a little weary and tired of waiting, and so you begin to lose strength. However, God’s time is not always your time. He sits high and looks low. He holds your future in His hands, and therefore knows what will happen in your life; and so, He works out all things for your good (Romans 8:28).
The Scripture advises you, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint ” (Isaiah 40:31).
One of my favorite songs, which I use as a ringtone on my cell phone is, “I don’t mind waiting on the Lord.” Whenever my cell phone rings, and I hear this song, it reminds me to wait with patience and a good attitude, so that God can do a complete and thorough work in my life. Here’s the song:
If you are waiting on the Lord, and have gotten weary, ask Him for renewal of strength, so that you can see your prayer(s) answered and God’s purpose manifest in your life. Patience and perseverance is essential in waiting, in order for you to accomplish your dreams and desires.
My prayer for you today: May the God of peace teach you how to wait with patience and keep a good attitude while waiting, in order to see His full purpose(s) accomplished in your life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
