God Will Protect His Purpose

When God calls you, he will protect his purpose that he has called you to fulfill. Satan will stop at nothing to allow people in your life to try and interfere with his purpose; however, God will not allow this to happen. He is God, and whatever he ordains to be fulfilled, it will be, as long as you stay in obedience and yield to his will. The Lord assures you that heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away (Matthew 24:35).

The reason some people leave your life is because they would have interfered with his purpose. Although this may be a hurtful experience when they leave, let them go! If they were destined to be a part of your purpose, then they would have no doubt stayed with you. Although you may not see it now; in the end you will realize that they would have interfered with what God wants you to do. Notwithstanding, God will replace the people who have left you with people of purpose who will support the calling that God has placed upon your life.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). When God calls you out of the world, do not expect that people are going to love you because you are following God and fulfilling his purpose for your life. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you (John 15:19).

All things considered, you may not see the hearts of people, because you are looking on the outward appearance; therefore, you do not know that they would have become a hindrance to his purpose. However, the Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). That is why God will let people leave your life, in order to protect his purpose that he has called you to fulfill.

The heart is described by National Geographic Science as the body’s most essential organ. It is the body’s engine room responsible for pumping life-sustaining blood throughout the body. Therefore, the scripture advises that, above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23 NIV).

The heart is sensitive, and that is where the devil will introduce different seeds of evil to take root. These seeds will eventually begin to grow if the heart sustains and nourishes them. The biblical story in Genesis 4 of Cain and Abel depicts an evil seed of jealousy. Both brothers made sacrifices to God; however, God favored Abel’s sacrifice over Cain’s. As a result, Cain became enraged with jealousy. He then murdered his brother, Abel. As a punishment, God condemned Cain to a life of wandering.

The Bible depicts the fruits that will be produced if the heart is guarded with the Words of God, instead of evil. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness (Galatians 5:22 NIV).

Who Is Your Rock?

From the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I (Psalm 61:2).

Jealousy is Unhealthy

Surely vexation kills the fool, and jealousy slays the simple (Job 5:2).

When you are faced with struggles in life, it is sometimes difficult to not worry. This is especially true, if you have been facing ongoing struggles, and it seems like there is no end to them. You may get anxious, overwhelmed, and tired. At that point in your life, it is also hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Your heart and mind are two vulnerable areas that Satan will try to attack. Therefore, you are reminded in the scripture, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).”

Keep your heart pure for out of it are the important things of life (Proverbs 4:23). Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8). Let your heart bear the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

A Pure Heart With Fruit Of The Spirit

It contains love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

An Impure Heart Without Fruit Of The Spirit

It contains hate, jealousy, bitterness, adultery, fornication, hostility, impatience, unfaithfulness, among other evilness.

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you can repent, by asking Jesus to forgive your sins and transform your heart. If you have been saved, but still struggling to maintain a pure heart, you can ask the Lord to help you to keep your heart pure, by filling it up with the fruit of the Spirit.

Falling In Love Again With God

What does it really mean to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength? Are you longing for the Lord to do a great thing in your life and in your heart?

As the world celebrates Valentine’s Day, it’s wonderful to show your love and appreciation to those around you, but it’s even greater to fall in love all over with God again.

ILoveGod

In Psalms 63:1-4, David had that thirst for the Lord. He wanted that oneness with God, and to share his love with Him. He said, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirst for thee, my flesh long for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.”

In order to see God’s power and glory, you must have that closeness with Him. I know you don’t share certain special things and secrets with people you are not close to, do you? It’s the same for God. When you pour out your love to Him, and thirst for Him; He will show you His power and glory. However, He said, “If you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15).” So to love God, is not only to love Him with your lips, but to show Him, by seeking Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

God bless you all!

Do You Have A Healthy Heart?

It’s not only the type of food that you eat or lack of exercise that can make your heart unhealthy.

Heart

Your heart can be unhealthy, because it abhors or houses hate in it. If you love God, then you should love others as well. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen (1 John 4:20).

I agree that people, including your own families, friends, or spouse can hurt and hate you in the worst way, but you do not have to return the compliment. You can show them the love of Christ, so that they know there is something different about you. Showing them love does not mean that you have to allow people to walk all over you, or that you have to be in a relationship of any sort with them, if that relationship is negative and toxic. However, you can still maintain peace and love when you see or talk to them.

Hate in one’s heart can cause a lot of different tension and stress.  Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses (Proverbs 10:12). On the other hand, love makes your heart more healthier. Anyone who does not love, does not know God, because God is love (1 John 4:8).

By and large, try to maintain a healthy heart, by eliminating any hate that may be in there; because hate causes too much hurt in one’s heart.
