“I’m With You;” Says The Lord.

Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem is celebrated today as Palm Sunday. As He made His entry into Jerusalem, the people were very excited. They shouted, “Hosanna! Blessed is the King” (John 12:13). The word “Hosanna” means “save us, we pray.”

Many times you may be going through several different obstacles in your life, which leave you to wonder if God is with you. Or better yet, if He is even near you. In any event, God is always with you. It doesn’t matter your circumstances, or how bad you may feel. He is with you. He says, “I will never leave you or forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).

So today is a day to acknowledge that you are never alone. Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem was the beginning of your salvation.

So if you are in a bind today, and need Jesus’ grace, just cry out, “Hosanna!” God will hear and save you. He will guide you through any situation that seems hopeless, because He brought hope, peace and joy into this world. Not only so, but He loves and cares for you with an everlasting love. No greater love is there than His, that He laid down His precious life for you (John 15:13).

Do you think you are alone? “I’m with you;” says the Lord.

Hosanna In The Highest!

“And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee (Matthew 21:9-11).”

The word, “Hosanna” is used to express adoration, praise, or joy. When Jesus made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, He was met with great adoration by the people who placed palm leaves in His pathway. This expression of adoration, praise and joy leading up to the crucifixion, symbolizes the victory that Jesus would gain on the cross. Palm Sunday is a time to celebrate Jesus’ journey to the cross, and the ultimate sacrifice that He made, that would be the greatest victory in Christianity. It is the beginning of the Holy Week leading up to Easter.

As we celebrate Palm Sunday, you need to understand your journey here on this earth. Remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for you, and that you have already overcome by His blood.

PALM SUNDAY: THE VICTORY GAIN WAS GREATER THAN THE PAIN

Today, Christians around the world are celebrating Palm Sunday. This celebration marks the triumphal entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem, the week before his death and resurrection. Palm Sunday begins the Holy Week, which ends on Easter Sunday.

Mark 11 denotes this message, “When they came to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent forth two of His disciples, and said unto them, go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and He sat upon him. And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord: And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.”

When you explore the message in Mark 11, you can see that Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem is something to be excited about. This is so, because, although His time was drawing nigh where He would be tortured and died on the Cross, the victory that would be gain, would be greater than the pain. Today, sinners can have a second chance because of this great victory. This reminds you that when you are going through your darkest moment, you should rejoice, because the victory you will gain, will ultimately be greater than your pain.
