God’s Plan B

Plan A is defined as one’s original plan or strategy, while Plan B is defined as an alternative plan or strategy.

There are times when you may have decided on a Plan A. In addition, you may have prayed for God to work through your Plan A. Notwithstanding, this plan did not work out the way you had hope it to be. As a result, you may have been disappointed about this disruption to your plan. The devil can also allow you to think that God has forsaken you. However, you are reminded to be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

You may also think that God is not in control of the situation. On the contrary, He is definitely in control of everything, despite what you may think. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps (Proverbs 16:9). God is omnipotent, which means He has unlimited power and is able to do anything. Furthermore, the way you think is not necessarily the way the Lord thinks, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9).

The Lord is omniscient, which means that He knows everything, including the past and the future. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

All in all, God’s Plan B is always better than your Plan A.

Are You In A Season of Isolation?

When you are in a season of isolation, God will allow people to leave your life, as he prepares you for a new assignment, a higher level of anointing, a new blessing, or a renewed purpose in order for you to embark on what he calls you to accomplish on this earth.

At first you may be disappointed and heart-broken when people you thought would have been there with you, decided to leave your life. Although this may be true, you should instead count it as pure joy, because now you can walk in your purpose and become more successful in who God has called you to be, without having them around as hindrance. If they were a part of God’s plan for your life, then he would have allowed them to stay and accomplish this plan. However, God cannot use people who will not contribute good to your life; but would contribute evil instead.

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers (Proverbs 6:16-19, ESV).
