Matthew 28:6
Dear Mothers,
Greetings to you all on this Mother’s Day. It is a very special day to honor you, and to let you know how great is your God. He is King of all kings, and worthy to be praised. He has made you powerful and strong to withstand the turmoil of this time. You have been created with a purpose in mind. Therefore, although you may have been written off as having no virtue, remember that in God’s sight, you are a virtuous woman, and you are worth much more than rubies (Proverbs 31:10).
For those of you who think that your children have been cast down, and have been written off, God has got them. They shall return to the fold, because God is still in control. For those who have suffered the loss of a child, don’t forget, God has got them too. God will take you through, because the pain you have endured to bring your children into this world is for a purpose. They are here for a purpose. For those of you who have children with special needs, children who are struggling with drug issues, children who are struggling with their own identities, children who are in trouble with the law, children who are abused, and children who are suffering because of sicknesses, and other issues, God has given them to you, because he knows, that only you could be that mother that they can depend on.
For those of you who think that you are not treated the way you should by your spouses and others, you are special to God. He knows your worth, and He cares. He has gotten you in the palm of His hands. Mothers, you are not only mothers, you are wives, sweethearts, spouses, partners, confidants, friends, sisters, and so much more. You will forever be the rock in the people’s lives whom you have touched, and who have come to know you as the best women in the world that God has ever created.
Mothers, you are special!
God bless each and every one of you.

Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. Matthew 27:55
The New Testament records the fact that many women were among the larger body of disciples that followed and served Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, we only know the names and stories of a few. They were more loyal to Jesus at the time of his crucifixion than his male disciples.
Despite the patriarchal society of that day, four women—two of them Gentile foreigners—were named in the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew’s Gospel chapter one. It is significant that Jesus included women in his teaching putting them on equality with men. The same ethical and moral standards were demanded from both genders and the same way of salvation was offered for both.
Throughout the Bible, women filled significant roles—from leadership like Deborah to unique motherhood like Mary.

As I reflect on these words, women have been very significant from biblical times in both ministry and the role of motherhood. Mary, the mother of Jesus had endured such horrific experience carry the Christ-child. Despite her horrendous tribulations, as well as the terrible experience she faced when her son was crucified, she displayed phenomenal strength and courage, that any caring mother would display for her child.
Today, I hail all the mothers in the world, including our ministry moms, and wish each and every one of these phenomenal woman a
