There is a danger in starting a fire; you will never know how many bridges you will burn in the process. However, sometimes it isn’t a bad thing, as it may prevent you from going back to a place, where you should never have been at, to begin with.
Friends come and go, but real friends stay; chances are, if someone is in the past, that person deserves to stay there. You cry over friends you will never have back, people you once loved and bridges that have been burnt. Notwithstanding, there is a reason why these bridges have been burnt in the first place. The past is in the past. Therefore, you only have so much room in your life, so begin to save it for people who deserve it.
Proverbs 17:17 ( NIV) A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity
So many times you might have been faced with terrible situations in your life, and you cried out to God, and said, “Lord, I’m going crazy!” However, God promises to keep you sane, and take you through whatever situations and struggles that you encounter in your life.
The devil wants you to lose your mind, but God will make sure that His peace keeps your heart and mind in perfect sanity.
Therefore, take a deep breath, pray, and trust God to take you through whatever circumstances that may be happening in your life. The Scripture says, “And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
So if you think you are going crazy with all the tribulations around you, you won’t! Just say to the devil, “I won’t lose my mind!”
Life is so precious, yet so uncertain. It’s very hard to imagine how your life can change in a moment. It might be a major catastrophe that you have no idea would have affected your life, or it could be a joyous moment that you will never forget.
In this post, I will focus on the latter, which is the positive life changing moments. It could be that you’re going to be a parent for the first time, or you are going to say, “I Do,” or you have to move away to a new location, and the thought of changes scares you, yet excites you. You might have just started a new relationship, and the thought of being in love again, makes you happy.
In life, no matter what bad experiences you have encountered, your life can suddenly change for the better. It’s always a great thing to be positive. Therefore, if you are experiencing a bad life changing moment right now, just know that your good life changing moment is yet to come. Your pain is never permanent, and your trials and tribulations are temporary.
Last night in a vision, I encountered a young girl, who was singing some songs that were not reaching her audience. I then directed her to sing the following song, which resonated well with her audience. I will include the first few lines along with the video of the song itself.
God sent His son, they called Him Jesus He came to love, heal and forgive He lived and died to buy my pardon An empty grave is there to prove my savior lives
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow Because He lives, all fear is gone Because I know He holds the future And life is worth the living, just because He lives
As I re-directed this young girl in my vision to switch to this song, I woke up realizing what this song means. This is a song that depicts how Jesus came into this world, because of the love that God has for us. His birth was for a purpose – a purpose to save mankind from sins and to give us hope and peace. Hence, I definitely believe God gave me a word in season, to share with others, that no matter the circumstances of life and what you have been through; because He lives, you can face tomorrow.
If you are struggling to find your way to Jesus, remember He came to love, heal and forgive. Therefore, as we approach the new year, you have a choice – a choice to renew or direct your life into His hands. Forget the failures of 2013, and trust God to lead you into 2014. He is more than a conqueror.
I just want to remind you that you have been fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14). With that being said, you know that you are not just here by chance. God created you with a purpose in mind, so you have to press to pursue your purpose.
The question you need to ask yourself as you are preparing to say goodbye to 2013, is: How many of my God-given purpose(s) have I accomplished in 2013? If you have faltered along the way, don’t worry; you are alive, and that means you still have hopes and a purpose(s) to accomplish.
So be proactive, and press to pursue your purpose(s) in 2014!
